UNITED DANKS X DARUMA KIDS

The DANKS group of hair and beauty salons in Japan launched the first official Daruma Kids campaign that ran from October 2009 to January 2010. A total of 30,000 individual mobile phone straps were created (6,000 of each of the Daruma Kids character). Each strap retailed for ¥500 and were sold exclusively within the DANKS Groups' 500 hair salons. A portion of the revenue benefitted the Children's Make-A-Wish Foundation ^® and as a result of selling all 30,000 straps, a total of ¥7 million ($US75,000) was raised!
